Rose McGowan

 

Rosa Arianna "Rose") McGowan was born on September 5 in 1973. She is an American actress. McGowan made her debut film debut in 1992 in Encino Man (1992), and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award nomination in 1995 for her role in the dark comedy The Doom Generation (1995). McGowan's debut came in the horror movie Scream in 1996. Then, she appeared as the star of Jawbreaker (1999), Devil in the Flesh (1998), and Going All the Way (1997). In the decade 2000, McGowan became known to television audiences for her role as Paige Matthews in The WB supernatural drama series Charmed (2001-2006). Quentin Tarantino directed her double-feature film Grindhouse (2006) that in which she received the Saturn Award for Best Actress and the Scream Award to Best Scream Queen. Her debut album, Planet 9, was released in 2018. The album was followed by a repackaging of Planet 9 in 2020. McGowan was recognized by Time as the Silence Breakers, the magazine’s Person of the Year in 2017. She spoke out against harassment and sexual assault, and , in particular, the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases. In the year 2018, she released Brave which is a memoir as well as appeared in Citizen Rose, a four-part documentary series.
