Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was conceived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke is her mother and Doug Chalke are her father. Sarah is the middle child. She has one older sister Natasha Chalke and one younger sister, Piper Chalke. Sarah's acting debut came in City Boy (1992), the TV-produced film. After her debut film her audition, she was cast in 1993 for the role of "Becky" of Roseanne (1988). The show was searching for an alternative to the character after Alicia Goranson quit the show to attend college. Sarah graduated from highschool in 1995 and was a part in the production of Roseanne (1988) between 1994 and 1995. In 1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). Then, in 1996, she starred in 2 films in which she starred, including Robin of Locksley (1996) as well as Stand Against Fear (1996) in which she played the cheerleader "Krista Wilson". In 1998, just a year following the time that Roseanne (1988) was over, Sarah was asked to act in a show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). It was based on a TV film with the same title and title, called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998), which Sarah was also a part of. Sarah took over the role of Becky on Roseanne (1988) from Alicia Goranson in 1993. Said she would like to take a break from acting and enroll in college. Chalke likes cooking with her group of friends, especially Thai as well as sushi as well as playing the guitar. She also enjoys ski (she is an instructor) kayaking, snowboarding, kayaking and reading. Her father is an attorney, and both of her parents run an agency for adoption of children. She accompanied her parents to China two years ago to help coordinate the adoptions of orphans.
