Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter was born July 23, 1970. She played Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also starred in Charmed (2004) and Kendall Casablanca's character in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was in The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada), the daughter of Christine Carpenter as the bird sanctuary's worker, as well as Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. Carpenter is of Spanish, French, and German heritage (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High school in Las Vegas. She was also a member of a music and dance group that was a part of the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter moved with her family to Rosario Beach in Baja California, Mexico, at age fifteen. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter was a frequent traveler throughout Europe following her graduation. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a store clerk for video as well as an aerobics teacher and as a property manager. In 1991, she worked as an cheerleader for San Diego Chargers football team. In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles.While swimming in San Diego in 1991, she and two male buddies were assaulted by Henry Hubbard Jr., who was a former San Diego police officer and serial rapist, who attempted to subdue them by threatening them with guns. During the struggle that ensued, her companions and Hubbard were shotand forced him to flee the scene; both friends were able to escape the assault. Hubbard was found guilty and sentenced to 56 years prison for a string of rapes, thefts. Carpenter Hubbard was arrested and convicted. Carpenter Hubbard his flashlight from the police station to the beach. He had left it at the beach. This flashlight would become an important piece of evidence against Hubbard.
